Dear Senseis and Friends

The 15th Annual Sacramento Karate Championships started exactly as planned at 9:00 a.m. We had approximately 38 officials and 397 competitors from all around the country. I would like to thank the many schools that helped support our annual karate tournament. I have received many e-mails regarding how pleased they were with the officials and the caliber of the competition. This was largely due to all of the outstanding referees that were present. Also to the parents and students of IKF, "Thank You" so much for your support and loyalty throughout the years. This tournament would not have been successful without your dedication and commitment. We have already began to plan for next years tournament to see how we can improve the tournament overall. I am hoping to schedule the tournament for sometime around the second week of June. Once again thanks to the many officials, schools, parents and competitors for making the 15th Annual Sacramento Karate Championships a great success. See you all next year.
